When Netflix raised its prices we LEFT.....Goodbye!
We liked the service well enough, and especially the instant viewing at home however there were a few complaints, when, they decided to raise the price were enough to have us dump them.
We can understand (well, not really) why the instant viewing movies weren't the same as the movies available that week on DVD. Afterall, it was VERY convenient to just turn on the Wii and stream a movie to the TV or turn on the computer and have it stream there. We have, err, HAD Netflix on the iPhone too but I never wanted to watch a movie on that screen. So, if you are going to charge me more for the luxury of streaming (not "out on DVD now") movies, I don't want your service anymore.
RedBox...Ooooo..I was thinking Cartier.....sigh..no, another movie rental company..yeah yeah ok...but I have to actually GET DRESSED to get a movie!! The NERVE!!
Well, out one day buying shampoo or toiletpaper at the local Walgreens and what do you know, a REDBOX kiosk....hmm.... I tried to sign up through my iPhone but the scrolly thing wouldn't work input certain information.....If I remmeber correctly, I finished registration at home and got a movie that night.
At only 1 $buck a night it is a steal. Just remember to return your movie to ANY Redbox in the area before 9pm or they hit you up for another dollar.
Sign up for texts and you get freebies every once in a while.
All in all, no complaints except for having to get dressed and go out.....which is why I get and return ONLY if I am out anyhow...
Redbox is the best - you can rent DVDs for $1 a night with no membership fees! You should try it out. If you click on my link and it's your first time renting online, they'll give you a free one-night online rental credit.
